Tree at Dawn by Andrew-and-Seven Tree at Dawn by Andrew-and-Seven
Shot at the same sunrise as "Good Morning Amersham" with a little dodging and burning.

Not sure I like the 'glow' across the grass :-S

in interesting photo - i like the colours. Is the grass out of focus or pixelated or what? Seems a little odd?

Both I suspect. I get quite a lot of noise on the 10D (being way out of date nowadays) and it was shot at 200mm so a pretty lame focus range. I did notice it but really I thought it added a slight surrealness to the shot, made it look less like a photograph you know.

Lovely capture and comp. the sea of green and the strong diagonal elements, the sky colors and lighting, the position of the tree. Well done :D

Cheers, you little monkey :)

I know a few simple things however that are beyond even my 'magic touch'. Still, they're good mates and always get the round in :D :lmao:

And really, nature the hard stuff - I just delayed breakfast and dodged in the highlight.

It is the angle of the hill tho, that's how it is I guess.

If I straightened the hill the tree would look odd...

Those pesky hills....... hehe

yeah, true. and hills suck. thought i just noticed that with the shine on it it kinda looks like water so the angle does work with it. i dunno, reminded me of a vinal first time i saw it

You reckon? I'm veering towards arty/poncy with the highlight on it.

I'm having a 'Mr Burns trademark change of heart'

I like the glow, but only if its real...have you been cheating with the ole CS mate? It looks good if that's natural, but if you added that in, it could be called "a bit much"...only you know though.

I like this one. Simple but effective.

Yeah mate added it with a bit of dodging. Thought it livened it up you know? Me trying to be arty lol lol which as you know, is not me at all.

You up for Saturday then?

Have to say sorry and miss this one mate, things have been a little rocky with the missus of late, and haven't seen much of her what with us cavorting last weekend at the bike show and her brother up visiting, so this Saturday is Missus Day if you know what I mean. HOWEVER, I'm VERY up for jaunts like this and anytime you fancy one, or I go out on one, let's get in touch and see what we can do...

Sorry to miss it mate and thanks for the offer, just not this time eh.. :)

Oh I do. Gives the vast greenery some character. I think it looks quite serene. Love the textured look of the grass too. Nice one...
