Taken in Saxmundham, Suffolk on a very grey and miserable looking day, this operational windmill proved worth the 250mile trip. You don't see working windmills very often, so bravo the National Trust.
The pic has of course been modified in CS2, trust me the original is dull and flat (bleurgh). I've contrasted the grass up, dodged in the hedge 'strip' and burnt in the clouds.
1/50th sec f6.3 ISO100 (told you it was grim weather) 17mm on 10-20mm Sigma
(Was tempted to try slow enough exposure to blur the sails but forgot.....)
