Shap Pass

Taken Christmas Eve on the way up the M6 motorway in Cumbria. The M6 climbs over Shap which is the highest motorway point in the UK (I think). That part of the journey, which runs alongside the Lake District - to the right in the pic - was mostly fog bound until we got to the summit and hey presto.

It was -4 degrees which may not be that scary for some of you, but for me it was bleedin' cold.
