Yeah it was really Haslam's to lose, but sadly lose it he did. Lavilla needed to concentrate more I think - to be more consistent.

Colour ? I know what you mean but, well, I find them a bit garish to be honest - and the end results can look a bit messy to me. And you don't see many mono shots I think - and I try to be different :)

Excellent news on both=p been checking up on Walker on the Suzuki, his times look good and im certainly gunning for it to be his year. well you wont be disapointed with a Sigma 2.8 300mm for sure
i would certainly recoment one, awsome bit of kit, quality glass. Im thinking of getting a 1.4 converter for mine aswell, more performance could be gained there for sure:wave:

Can I be the first to point out that you've spelt his name wrong? ;)

You know, I wondered too. On page 13 of the Oulton programme (the team rosters) it's spelt like this. But on another page, opened just now at random as I prepared a terse reply ;) ;) has it spelt Lavilla lol lol lol lol .

I've looked around and I do think it's Lavilla, so I've changed it.

You and your eye for detail ;)

I saw your journal. Will be quite interested to compare it to my Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 at Brands.

Great photo, full of drama. :D

It's a pity the Ducati had to make the 1098 more than a litre capacity, they've kind of shot themselves in the foot as far as superbike racing is concerned! It would look awsome as a race bike.

Ooh, nice tight crop. Love the contrast of this. You can just about feel the different colours though you can't see them. Nice one...
