Artist's Comments

Well yesterday DA was running like a three legged dog so only two of my intended 4 were uploaded before I lost my rag and resorted to swearing and drinking red wine.

This is one of the most beautiful shots I think I've ever taken and I don't mind saying it.

Most of the wonder is down to the weather and the land. All I did is handle the camera and a wee bit of colour saturation in Lightroom.

Derwentwater on Xmas Day by *Andrew-and-Seven Comment by =Voracious-Vixen "The shot is superb and almost looks like a painting. The colours, lighting and reflections gives the viewer a feeling of calm, the feeling that you could just sit there and look at it for hours." Just beautiful, serene, peaceful, worthy of being in an art gallery.

mmm but here your composition was so good so don't say all you did was handle the camera. Well exposed, perfect for the light levels and effect you were after. Colours here are so right. (so is red wine! lolol)
